Our Teachers

All of our teachers love teaching and have at least 15 years experience working with children.  They also all have a Bachelors Degree or higher in Education and/or related fields.  They are also consistently taking continued education and workshops, some of which include nature based learning for preschoolers.  They all have healthy lifestyles that they bring into the classroom with them.  All teachers are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR, and have valid criminal background checks.

Jaime Moshé is so grateful to be working at Mountain Breeze Preschool.  She loves integrating yoga, nature, crafts, storytelling, science and self/universal love & awareness into the classroom.  The philosophy of neohumanistic education truly speaks to her soul.
Jaime has a degree in Child and Family studies and Is Certified in Education.  She has been treasuring her time with children since a young age…as babysitter, camp counselor and as an older sister. Jaime has been a children’s public school teacher, private school teacher,  ESL teacher and a great passion of her’s has been guiding Children’s yoga.  She has two certifications in children’s yoga and has been guiding the practice of yoga to adults and children for 15 years.  She has traveled and taught children in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Spain.  Jaime feels So blessed to be a mom to her wise, playful, intuitive and loving 10 year old son, Masi jai.
Her passion is in being present and awake to the magic & beauty of each day.

Miss Rachel is the director, substitute teacher, co-founder, and member of the board of directors at Mountain Breeze Preschool.  Her love for children and motherhood started at a very early age.  She got her Red Cross Babysitting Certification when she was about 11 and has been caring for children since then.  She was awarded a BA in Developmental Psychology at Suffolk University and has worked with families and directed family daycare’s and preschools in USA, Mexico, and Canada.  She has been doing yoga and meditation for 20 years, and tries to bring the love and inspiration she feels into the classroom and everything she does.  She traveled to many countries and lived in many places until finding the calm beauty of Marshall, NC in 2012.  She became a mother in 2008 and has found it to be the most challenging and rewarding job she has every had.  One of her two beautiful boys is currently enrolled at Mountain Breeze Preschool.

Kate Eckhardt has taught in several preschools, most recently as the after school and substitute teacher at Spruce Pine Montessori. She has also taught environmental education, yoga, and creative movement to kids of all ages. She is currently the manager of the River Arts District Farmers Market in Asheville, and a member of the Faerie Kin performance troupe. Kate loves being able to walk to Mountain Breeze from her nearby home.
